Bottle from tasting at Joni's. Really interesting if somewhat deceptive. Pours light and clear- nice maroon/ reddish hues. Pours like cherry juice. Doesn't look like much, but gets better with the nose and even more interesting on the palate. Tons of earth, spice and pepper notes with some soft tannins leading to a longer finish. Minerality adds interest. Typical Pinot sweet fruit on the front- strawberries, cherries. Feel like there is something different with each sip. Somewhat fascinating and totally enjoyable. Love it.

Enjoyable, solid, balanced Pinot with plenty of acid to age. Drinkable now and for years.

On the reductive onion side of Oregon Pinot Noir. Scallions. Soft on the mid. For $12 it works it out.
