Not blind As always a champagne with a winey character. Red currant, violet, smokey and the typical flavors of pears. Great to food. It is powerful wine , not the most elegant bdn but with a refreshing and cracking acidity in this mediocre vintage. 92-93
A great young champagne, powerful, a lot of red fruits, brilliant acidity, brioche, toast in the background, bread crust , bread crust, just short cellaring, but a monster, potential to 98

Drank it together with David from his cellar. A baby but after one hour in the glas you taste the potential. In the nose bread crust, brioche, yeast, chocolate, spicy. In the palate fresh rosted green nuts. Very long finish. Opened too young. 2000 bottles made. For me this BdN is the best effort of David's super wines (all other BdB). 95+ (50+5+13+18+9)

Powerful as usually. Perfect fit to cheese and ham. Red berries, not too tannic but I had it fresher in the past. Decanted for half hour. 93
