Looking at the earlier reviews, I'm glad I ended up drinking this past the estimated drinking window. The balance of fruit, tannins, alcohol is in a very nice place.

This bottle is one that is all over the board for me. It tastes hot, I guessed 15% ABV vs the bottle telling me 13.5%... Seems like the fruit has fallen of and was something better a year or two ago... If you have it drink it before its too late

Strange Cab for me. Quite plummy, vanilla/butterscotch, spices. Medium/low tannin. Balanced acid, but not bracing. In some ways one could call this a Zin-maker's Cab, I guess!

Tight nose, a little chocolate, date, and some leather coming through. Touch of oak. Palate: some oak, very muted cherry, still plenty of tannins. Warm going down, feeling the alcohol content. Underwhelmed. 84-85 pts.
