Colorado Party; 1/27/2017-1/28/2017 (Castle Rock, CO): Medium ruby color. Nose of indistinct black fruit and sawdusty oak. In the mouth, slightly sweet (probably a little RS), medium plus body, elevated alcohol, high acid - tastes acidified, medium tannins. The fruit is dirty and oak is way too prominent on the palate - cheap sawdusty oak (additives?).

Faint hint of cab, otherwise this was thin with an artificial flavor. I think this NV offering probably sat in the cellar for three years prior to opening, but at this point, I would dump (and did) Obviously designed for immediate consumption within hours of purchase, perhaps it could have been pleasant if served ice cold on release?
