My last bottle of this served with dim sum, appeared darker yellow than last time. Nose with lemony and critrus fruits, palate the lemon taste with the creaminess with hint of the acid and oaks. Good wine standard for a bourgogne.

Nice bright yellow color. Nose is filled with plenty of citrus fruits and orange peel. Palate is creamy with the acidity and fruits integrated. Moderate finished. Great wine for a bourgogne.

The Finest Burgundy Domains: The Classical 2004 (Caveau): Deeper yellow gold. Focused lemons with good creamy rather than buttery mouthfeel. Amore gentle approach. Still short with white nuts on the finish. Also modern in style.

Vinum 2004 Burgundy Tasting (Caveau, Singapore): Yellow gold tone, a shade darker than the Anne Gros Bourgogne Blanc 2004 we tasted alongside. The nose was rather open and expressive, certainly more so than the preceding wine, hitting me with floral notes, sweetish oak and fruit that brought to mind lemon drops and lemon custard. There was a more savoury undertow with some chalkiness underlying the sweeter notes, adding interest to the wine. In time, a creamy, macadamia nut scent came to the fore. The palate was also more forward than the Bourgogne Blanc, with a rich, creamy mouthfeel, sweet lemon fruit, with more of the buttery nuttiness and a touch of mineral. It finished rather short with just a little bit of heat. There was some acid, but I would have liked a little more freshness to balance off the fatness in the mouth. All in all though, an attractive wine and rather good quality at the price.

Team group lunch Parcel 104--what a surprise! Showing great, creamy and dreamy--but great balance and refreshing. More austere fruit such as pear, with loads of mineral elements. Great!
