Red Brown rim. Perfumed red fruits on nose. Smooth easy mouth entry with strong winey, stewed rhubarb, cinnamon, little bit of iron-earth minerality. Good length to the finish. No confectionary notes here as seen with some non old vine grenache. Moving into its tertiary phase with hint of varnish, no exces VA. Fully mature, will hold 5-6 years. Suits antipasto or osso buco.

The colour of the wine is a garnet fading towards brown at the meniscus. The nose is lovely, with warm winter spices balanced by a vibrant red fruit.
A surpringsly full bodied mouth feel. The structure is well balanced by those light red fruits promised on the nose. The spices also deliver, with delicious notes of pepper prominent.
There is a satisfying, long finish, with those strawberries lingering and a hint of juicy currants.
First glass was drunk after about 30 minutes in the decanter, and things only got better from there. Fully opened about an hour and a half later and it's still drinking well a good 3 hours afterwards.

Light colour, almost like a Pinot. Sweet fruity aroma, hint of rasberries. Silky taste, fruit not overpowering. Should cellar for another 3-5 years but drinking well now.
