The nose on this is on the light side of a standard German Riesling, with light petrol notes just beginning to develop. The palate is actually frizzante, which is a step outside of the ordinary when it comes to this varietal for me. The acidity is on the mild side but is easily enough to keep in step with the sweetness that dances on the outer rim of the palate.
2nd day - this grew a point overnight, with the acidity coming more forward and providing a brisker counterpoint to the fruit.

Ordered by mistake....I never order American Rieslings! Oops. it's alright. Not really my style. It's just flat and simple. Which is why I'm such a Germany-only snob. The German Rieslings are much more complex and interesting. Oh well.

Delicious crisp slightly floral Riesling. Pear and apple fruit, just a tinge of sweetness, not aggressive acidity - just a very well balanced and tasty wine.

Clear pale straw. Petroleum, guava. slightly effervescent. Low acids, no tannins. Apricot. Short balanced finish. Riesling tasting at Cartograph
