A nice easy sipper for the old world crowd. Grassy almost sauv blanc like nose with just a touch of tropical sweetness, but more of the good kind that isn't NZ cloying over the top pungentness. Lime and grapefruit with a touch lychee on the palate. A bit of mineral undertones to go with this fresh wine. Good acid. Modest finish, but clean. Not shabby for an under $20 wine. Goes great with Mediterranean or fish dishes.

Consistent with previous note, maybe even a little better. A delightful cross between Loire and NZ Sauvignon Blanc in bouquet and taste profile. Tremendous acidity and a piercing mouthfeel. Texturally intriguing, long finish. 90-91.

Reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc from both Bordeaux and New Zealand, showing pungent, weedy, and grapefruit notes, with a north Italian Pinot Grigio twist, particularly high-quality bottlings from Friuli. The wine also features floral aromatics, stone fruit, and citrus notes. Nicely layered, great acid, and quite long. A substantive wine. 89-90.

A private lunch (Restaurant Perceel *, near Rotterdam): Very fresh but soft, cool and floral, very modern, nice hint of salinity, citrus, attractive herbal note, good length.
