Excellent Sangiovese from a producer who never disappoints! We know McPherson has the oldest Sangiovese vines in Texas. But perhaps more importantly, he has the most experience making great Sangiovese, AND the commitment to maintaining the highest possible quality vintage after vintage. Black cherry and licorice with nicely integrated oak and spice. Great depth and complexity.

Very nice wine from the Texas High Plains! Crafted with some oak and tannins, it seems a bit more robust than it's Italian cousins which I really enjoyed.
