  Opened 3 hours ahead with 1.5 hour decant. Black raspberry and licorice. Macerated cherries and cherry preserves. Black pepper. Big fruit, but significant balancing acidity produces a lightness you wouldn’t expect. Lovely, deep, and enjoyable. Worked with Jambalaya.
  An hour later... intense blueberries on the nose. Still amazingly light for the alcohol.

  Lighter than most big Turley Zins. Very drinkable.

  Beautiful wine. Dark red berries and spice on the nose. Spice and pepper on the finish. Medium tannins. High acidity. Long finish that dries your mouth. Great with steak and just to enjoy on its own.
