  • Single bottle bought on sale. No serious expections. Opened up significantly and within an hour proved to be seriously good if not excellent. Worthy of the vineyard, though in a lighter style and a touch rustic if compared to more well known examples. It’s more charm than power which makes it approachable for its age, with violets and sweet red fruits and a touch of iron. Thinner mouthfeel but long coating finish. Beginning of its prime and can probably peak over the next 10 years.
