PnP but better after 10-15 minutes of air. The nose put forth bright red and dark red fruits, and a touch of earthiness. The medium bodied palate showed a good amount of these bright and dark red fruits, along with plenty of spice, and a touch of earth. The acidity was medium to plus but was balancing. Could hold, but I would drink up and enjoy soon. Overall, a very nice RRV Pinot that has become one our favorites from Fred.

We finally got around to opening this magnum of Scherrer Hallberg Vineyard pinot that I purchased for celebrating our retirement.
WOTY so far!!!
Bursting with layers of red and black cherry, plush mouthfeel, bracing acidity, long finish, this was an intense wine.
