For a $9 bottle of Brut - this is pretty tasty. It's not as smooth as a bottle that costs a few times more, but you shouldn't expect this to blow your mind. It has a soft nose, nice fruit, and a good crisp finish. This is my go-to bottle of champagne, as I'm not nearly as picky with the bubbly as with a big red.

Darkish yellow in color. Seems to have some oak influence. Vanilla, butterscotch and a hint of cognac. A bit of sweetness. Seemed a bit fat, but for $8.99, not a bad "easy quaff". A beefy style of sparkler.

very impressed for the price. this new york non vintage had all the trimmings of a more expensive champagne, or blend including granny smith apple, supple citrus, but as the user before stated it was a bit flabby and could have had more bubbles and more homemade bread. Otherwise I would have expected to pay at least $40 for something of this quality. There may have been some residual sugar as it had a sweet after-taste which was fine by me. a '99 Cristal for my birthday in 2 weeks.

Apples, vanilla and very doughy. A bit fat, soft and round. Could use more spine.
