  So, my wife says, "I am cooking salmon, bring us up something different". I found this 2013 Malbec and decided to try it. The wine was not decanted, just opened, and poured (through a Vinturi). The nose was a Malbec nose, but better than I expected. The color was dark, like a Syrah. The taste was that of raisins, lots of raisins. And the finish was long and lingering. A perfect condiment for the salmon.
