  This wine really came around as a result of some bottle age. Popped and poured. Dominated by sour cherry, forest floor, and sweet vanilla with some drying tannins on the finish. LB was unhappy with the front palate; she felt it had a weird spritz on the attack. I, on the other hand, did not sense the spritz. A very good wine on this night, but not one that I feel will get any better with age.

  Excellent pinot. Nicely balanced, tart cherry and sweet berry flavor, touch of spice. Very enjoyable.

  A very nice pinot. Dark purple with cherry on the nose. Cherry and smoke on the palate. Lots of fruit with no flaws. What I like in a Calif. pinot; not complex, just tastes good.
