A little bit scratchy and green at first, but slowly it picks up weight and fleshes out with some air. Decent enough for the price, but for the same price I'd stick with Soli Pinot Nero from Mirglio of Bulgaria (yes really) which for the same price (if you are in the UK) gives you more funk and character.

Takes some time to open up but there is some quality here for a fair price - tart cherries, punchy red fruits and some celery stick notes. Would benefit from another year or two in the cellar me thinks. A nice mid-weeker.
