  11/9/2021 - DoubleD1969 Does not like this wine:

  Recent purchase from an Italian specialty food shop. Not sure how long it's been in the store. Used an ah-so to pull the cork which had wine stains about 1/5 from the bottom. Color was a light brown with a core of maroon. Nose had nothing. Palate had nothing. I don't think it's corked. No mustiness or wet newspaper notes. Wine was just dead. Not sure about the '95 vintage, but my guess is that it was a cool and possibly wet one. Not worth the $50.
