  • Fairly deeply colored. Good fruit throughout with the 80% grenache dominating the 20% syrah. I suspect this wine was made entirely in stainless steel or cement vats as there is no hint of oak. Too bad, for given its A.C. a bit of oak complexity would have helped. Drinkable with rustic foods, but overall it does not quite live up to the potential of its pedigree.
