All I could ever ask for in a wine that is not top shelf. Very, very much in window. First wiff was akin to bdx, but 2hrs decant helped the fruit emerge. Singing and intoxicating with its nutty addition to the fresh fruit basket. Drink or hold, but likely at apex.

More on the thin side but beautiful and multi-layered. Nose of cheery, earth, herbs, eucalyptus, spice and a well-rounded gorgeous herbal component that brings it all together. Needed two hours to open and shows well balanced tannins and a med+ to long finish w/ some grip Drink now but decant for several hours.

Two years since my last review, and I'm bumping my score by a point. Nice dried fruit flavors (strawberry, cherry) and dusty tannins and mouthfeel. Very little sweetness. I'd say it's nicely mature for phase one but not secondary (fungal) yet. For fans of elegant, lightweight red, this has performed well for its price point.

This was actually better on 2nd night after fridge-visit. The fruit came out better, more relaxed. Can drink now for sure but i wouldnt rush if stored well.
