Who says Zins don't age well! I'm not a big fan of zins, but we really enjoyed this bottle. Admidittedly this was well kept in a cellar that rises to upper 60s in summer and goes down to 61-62 (F) in winter. Took a few minutes in the glass for the nose to clear, and had a brown edge to it in the glass and a bit of sediment. But plenty of Zinfandel fruit with a nice aged Zin character with traces of my remaining 1977 Quady Zinfandel ports. Went wonderfully with my GF's thick vegetable beef soup, crusty Einkorn wheat bread, and salad with Salanova salad greens, radishes, carrots, bell pepper and O&V.
