Decanted for an hour and shared with friends at a local steakhouse. This was an amazing Honig Cabernet. Deep and dark, it still had plenty of structure to age further but is drinking deliciously right now.

Dark in the glass, restrained nose, some briar, forest floor component, nice fresh acidic entry with plenty of fruit, not a lot of depth or layers here. Dark fruit, meat, dark chocolate. Needs 2 hours of air to decrease the bite some. Certainly has quite a few years left in it. A decent wine but nothing that knocks your socks off, however it certainly does improve with time in glass and maybe ends up earning its pricepoint.
