Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 89 points

  • Dark fruit, blackberry, earth, chocolate and wood on the ripe nose. The medium to full-bodied palate continues with the same ingredients, adding spiciness and medium acidity. Fine-grained, somewhat resolved, but still grippy tannins and long finish. The alcohol heat is felt a bit. Structured, ripe, dark-fruited and quite powerful style. The oak has integrated somewhat, but is still felt. Feels more about winemaking than variety or place, will still hold and maybe even develop for some time.

  • Quite earthy, minty, with oak spice. A high alcohol red, with melted tannins and a long finish, not easy on its own.
