Got this at the Virginia Wine Festival in September. This Bordeaux blend has spice but also some blue fruit. 20 months in oak is subtly noticeable. "A true expression of the Virginia terroir." The makers recommend it with beef burgundy. But why would you drink a Bordeaux blend with beef burgundy? Overall value: 2.5 stars of 5. Mid-good (83.5).
