I guess I'm fairly agnostic on this wine, my 3rd out of 6 bottles. Though it has good mineral qualities, and some decent, fairly subtle fruit tones, the wine overall is fairly muted overall and there's something off, esp at the back end that I can't quite identify.

This was tough to rate. So I've had less than ideal luck with some of the wines from Olivet, whether they be from Williams-Selyem or GF. That being said, they are lovely, more delicate wines than some of the other offerings, but tend to be not as complex. First day this was relatively good, but too delicate. Saved some for the next day and it was surprisingly better. I'd give it an 86 the first day and an 89 the second day, with more weight on the first day.

This was actually harder to rate than expected. Much more delicate flavor (white flowers, nectarine) than expected given the vintage and RRV. One of the more elegant wines from them. That being said, it was perhaps a tad delicate for what I hoped for.

A very good RRV chardonnay. Slight oak, vanilla and mineral, but not overly oaked/vanilla you get with some Napa chards. Good acidity and paired well with a spring mix salad with chicken. Very nice.
