A light and red fruit nose of cherry; nicely layered fruit that blends with a smokey, soft tanic palet; the fruit is not over powered with the dirty flavor of many of the Oregon pinots; a lighter and fruiter Oregon PN. Drinking nicely now and should be so for 2 years.

Dundee Hills Passport Weekend; 4/17/2010-4/18/2010 (Dundee Hills Oregon): Tasted as a barrel sample. This vineyard contains older vines and is planted on shallow, rocky soil. Strawberry scents show on the nose along with some darker oak notes. The structure on the palate is full, but not overbearing. Some citrus and cherries show up, and a bit of vanilla that points to significant, but not over-done oak.
