  • {screwcap, 12.5%} Fairly deep yellow. Sweet apples aromas. Slight hint of honey too, but the palate is much dryer, that that yellowing riesling quality, broadening out into mandarin and cinnamon flavours. Medium weight, dry, sitting mostly on the front half of the palate, it finishes, despite the lovely flavours, just a bit on the short side. Ready to drink. Nice wine though, it sounds like I’m doing nothing but complaining, but it’s pretty decently fresh and interesting. Especially for a sensible $20s price.

  • {screwcap, 12.5} Bright, light straw yellow. Only mildly developed nose of steel and minerals, with a sherbert and apple note following through on the palate. The palate is mostly dry - there did seem to be a tiny hint of sweetness at the start but the wine seemed to get drier as it went on. There's not really the concentration on the light/medium-bodied palate that the nose suggests; it has medium acidity and a medium length finish of some interest. Seems like it will hold a while.
