  Solid Syrah that has aged nicely at 8 years, heat I noticed back in 2016 is gone, easy going and smooth. Crowd pleaser.

  decanted 2hrs. Bad News: at this stage this is really controlled by its oak treatment, leaving me with little in the way of Syrah Charactor or individual personality. Also came across a bit hot. Good news: this is very young wine, made in perfect growing conditions (2012 vintage) and by skilled winemakers (Sean Boyd from Rotie was the partner winemaker here), grew more seductive with air. Will revisit tomorrow.
