  deep ruby color; ripe blackberries, wet granite on the nose, hint of smoke; delicious full-mouth blackberries and black cherries, cigar box, hint of mint on the palate. Surprisingly noticeable medium tannins, but very well-integrated with fruit and acid, good balance. Long lingering AT. Almost a 91. Faded by day 2.

  ruby colored; herbaceous notes and leather on the nose; dark red fruit, cedar, smoke box on the palate. A bit closed, even through day 2. Mostly blackberries, closed-in by too much acid for my tastes. Contributions of white pepper, tart cherries and tobacco. Will it open with more cellar time?

  Un brin générique mais bien fait.
  Nez sur le cuir, la terre et les cerises.
  En bouche, les framboises et un peu d'élevage avec des tannins assez ferme et une longueur correcte.

  Medium(+) ruby, with slow moving legs and slightly viscous @13.5% abv. Medium(-) rather closed nose of blackberries, bramblebush, learher and smoke notes, cedar/cigar box. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium(-)-medium slightly dry tannin, medium alcohol and ditto body. Medium flavors of blackberries, bing cherries, white pepper, leather. Bright, fleshy mouthfeel. Great length displaying excellent balance between fruit-tannin-acidity and slightly dry finish, focused. Decant.
  Cellaring potential 3-6 years.

  Excellent, 13.5% alc.
  Colour: smokey dark red berry
  Bouquet: dried herbs, floral, cigar box, red and black berries
  Palate: as bouquet, medium to full bodied, very dry long finish, graphite and lead pencil, berry plumpness
