My last bottle. Transparent cherry fruit and just developing a touch of earthy stink (which I love). Awesome balance of fruit, tannin, and acidity. That said, now it finishes a touch short and was better in my earlier tastings. It’s still an awesome wine— and a stupidly good value— just not quite the wine it used to be. I should have seized the moment earlier and finished what I had. Will it be tasty a year or two from now? Absolutely. It’s just that optimally to my palate, I should have finished a year ago. Pair with PacNW grilled salmon— you won’t regret it!

I have had 1-2 wines from Garigiste that were not good, but wines like this (at the price paid) more than make up for it.
Didn't take notes, but this paired great with grilled coho salmon - strawberry, tart cherry, cedar, and tobacco - nice structure and medium+ body. Excellent. 92++
Will buy some more recent wines from this producer.

Last of my 3 and drinking very nicely. Great food wine and superb value for the $14 I paid

Very thin, losing its fruit and developing a very musty taste. Has deteriorated over the last couple of years. Drink up.

Great QPR. Wonderfully versatile. Classic NW, but bolder and richer than many of the popular thin Oregon Pinots.
