I ordered the wine with lunch at the restaurant of hotel Adler Dolomiti in Alto Adige. Popped and poured from a half-bottle. The cork was almost soaked. The wine was medium ruby in colour. It offered red fruit and cherry flavours and a good, creamy mouthfeel. I re-corked the bottle and had the rest two days later. The wine now offered red fruits, cake mixture, spices and chocolate ring cake on the nose. On the palate the wine showed sweet dark berry flavours, cherry, coffee and sweet liquorice, with a very rich mouthfeel. A very nice and solid Pinot. Drink 2013 – 2017. 88+
