  Some syrah funk in the nose--how nice! Pretty full body, with brambly blue/red fruits to savor--long finish that tapers to an impression of blueberry and fruit compote sweetness. Wish there was a tad more bite to the finish to brace the fruit, but this was quite enjoyable.
