  The nose was rich with intense red and black fruits, wild herbs, mint and dark soil tones adding a pleasant earthy edge. On the palate, it was medium bodied with a juicy, silky structure ushering in flavors of black fruit with a savory and spicy pepper note. Saturating wild berry fruit lingered long on the finish with tongue curling acidity which made the mouth water.
  
  This may not be the greatest QPR, but it's a wonderful example of Syrah from South Africa.
