  Usually a blend around 60% Merlot , 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Syrah. At 8 years, near opaque that shows its age with a lighter red band around the edge. Very aromatic with red and black cherry, blueberry, and violets. Enjoyably delicious in the mouth with ample acidity, tannin, and fruit, and nothing old, astringent, sour, or harsh. The swallow has a spike of acidity that is also juicy and palette cleansing. Overall, a fine drink anytime wine that has aged well and has no need to be consumed soon.
