  • Frosty yellow look, dusty even. Soothing citrus dominates the nose, just so pretty and mouthwatering that you loose control of your hands (and start to continously reach for the glass...). Fine tuned and mineral texture. Elegant and made for drinking. Sure, it got some depth but mostly it's about purity and balance. Very much a "Chardonnay from Jura" with its smoky minerality, stones and acidity. Not particularly long aftertaste but that lemon note is just gorgeous. Not many wines I pick over this a warm summer evening. Oh yeah, imo it drinks spot on at this point, still pretty young with lively acidity but has begun to smoothen out a bit. You probably need to wait at least 5 for some significant development.

  • Has the stink. Bright and energetic. Full of flavor yet light of touch. Fun wine.

  • At first closed and not much to find. Opens up a bit after 15 minutes in the glass. Dried apricots, hot butter and walnuts. Creamy notes but not that forward at all, everything happens in the background. Plenty of acidity on the palate, orange peel, almonds and lemon, very pure notes. This is too young imo and far from the stunning '11 I had a few months ago, hold for at least a couple of years.
