ruddy brick color; cinnamon spice and wet forest on the nose; pleasant soft tannin black raspberry / blackberry notes on tasting. Quite acceptable levels of fruit, good acid balance, drinking well despite its age.

Ok this an etched magnum, that came from the winery and has been in my cellar 15 years. The ullage was less that a quarter inch below the capsule and the cork sound. Color is healthy and the nose sweet cherries and mild oak smoke. The balance is a bit hot but this is a nice Cabernet that shows what can happen with good storage.

Past its prime with tired fruit, little nose, no finish. Got lost in the cellar, so it's hard to say how it drank at its prime. If you have any left, open 'em up now on the off chance that there is anything left.

The wine is dead. I forgot I had it--was buried in my wine fridge. Not that it's offensive, but there's little to the nose, very little on the palate--tastes more like simple grape juice. This was a good wine in its time (probably up until 2 years ago). The oak, fruit, and tannins are all gone.
