Refosco is more for Sandy soil and is too high acid here hermano the same thing. Merlot was brought by French a long time ago and works with the clay.
Man is that ripe and pure and fruity. His thought. Gomformhighnqiality or just forget it. And for a long time wrong oak. Local oak that was too green and attacking the palate. Now different. Gentle barrels, French helps slow and gentle evolution taming acidity and green. Aged 3 years in barrels. 20% new oak. The idea a starting level for drinking. The merlot in this region is always soft and plums and spicy.
And that has a amazing structure. Mineralogy lifted its not pomerol but it's darn delicious.
