another unique scholium. Palate of under-ripe cranberry, blueberry, slightly tart cherry, dry, tannic from skin/seed contact, light, musk, slightly acidic. Very interesting. Maybe best scholium that we ever tasted (table 100% agreed), but this is their only Pinot Noir that we have tasted.

Unlike any other Cali pinot I’ve had. Currant. Tannic/acidic. Almost cabernet-like but doesn’t have any cabernet notes. Very unique, tasty & intriguing.

Doesn't feel much like pinot noir. The fruit is is the background. Extremely structured with prominent tannin. This is a fine wine but lacks the generosity that I expect from the top tier wines....

Fascinating, and unlike any other California pinot, but black-fruit pinot is evident on the nose. Dry, moody, but enticing, and wild. Tangy acidity that lingers. Benefits from air.

Enticing nose. Not quite pinot-like, it's overlaid with musk and spice. And the taste is unique as well. It's light, not tannic. Bitter herbs come through, as do those spices. Very nice.
