A wine that really shows the tough vintage conditions Margaret River experienced in 2006. Has a lean, green, capsicum streak through it which does distract from the overall experience. Not the best example of this wine and in a 10 year vertical of Woodlands "Margaret" this would easily be voted last place. Ok.

Smooth oak, capsicum lifted nose and leathery green peppers notes that reminds me of a lynch bages 87 that I had just a few days backs. Elegantly framed and well aged.

- Ruby color - Herbaceous, green twigs and boiled lollies on the nose. Macerated cherries and white pepper on a medium length palate.
