60% Roussanne, 35% Semillon, 5% Chardonnay. Aromas of stone fruit. Dominated by apricot and plum flavors, round, smooth mouth-filling texture. Nicely balanced, medium body, medium finish.

A nicely balanced white blend...more oakey than a Blanc, but not so oakey as an American Chardonnay (thankfully). Not so crisp as a Grigio, but overall not too bad.

This may have improved slightly since the last bottle. It definitely has a sweet fruit core (the old "Australian sunshine in a glass" comes to mind) and it certainly conjures up images of summer holidays. It is very fresh though and is just a delight to sip on its own or with Asian food (we had it with a very mild Indian chickpea dish and it worked well).

You could do a LOT worse for $10 a bottle. This has a nice mountain-spring-water freshness that leads to a rounded palate, with a fairly complex (and very clean) finish for the price range. Great buy.
