  Interesting comments. I couldn't get passed the splintery, heavy-handed oak. Big, hot fruit. Even tannic. Agree this is a 'pizza' wine but not sure that does it any favors. Perhaps age will bring some focus.

  Honest moderate brick red. No oak per se mostly a nice integrated oak spice. Good level of fruit nicely balanced with acid and structural tannins that are mostly in the finish. I would not call this outstanding Pinot but quite nice.
