Nice nose of graphite and dark fruit. Great tannis and nice finish. The wife thought this was higher rated than myself, but it is very good. I think the bottle time must have mellowed the "sweet" comments, as I did not notice that at all.

Not understanding the low score and negative comments on this one. Muted nose but some vanilla. Nice mouth feel - strong tannins with plum, raisin and a bit of honey. Really nice wine after short decant.

First sip from the bottle was a fruit bomb - almost sweet! But after swirling in the glass for 30 seconds or so, it really started to open up and show some complexity. After decant for 30-60 minutes, the fruit was more subdued and the wine was more balanced. Tannins were light. Enjoyed this - great QPR. Probably wouldn't cellar it much longer.

This wine really opened up beautifully. Big and bold. Awesome value from Cam Hughes.
