We waited a little too long but still a nice rich wine. Not bad after all these years but a little over the peak. Rich, chewy, some citrus, good balance

The 2011 M-R from Cline is more interesting than the 2010, in my opinion. What struck me first this year was the nose - it has elements reminiscent of a sauv blanc, gooseberry, pineapple, citrus. Looking at the blend, and realizing that it was 76% Marsanne, made a bit more sense, but still not what I expected from this combo. All stainless.
In the mouth, its also a bit SB like in the front palate, picking up some stone fruits in the mid palate. Bright on finish.
A Rhone for Sauv Blanc drinkers.
