White and yellow feuit, nice balance, no oxydation, still young and delicious bottle.

  • Beautiful wine. Drinking great right now, with no sign of oxidation. This has another 6-9 years at least.

  • At Reflections. Tasted blind. About ~2hours of air in bottle already.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow gold colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of salty minerality, seaspray, smoke, limestone mineality, citrus lemon-lime. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of salty minerality, seaspray, smoke, limestone minerality, sweet citrus lemon-lime fruit. Crystalline medium+ finsh.
Very good quality. Mineralic focus, though the saltiness may be a bit extreme for some. Overall character totally in keeping with the Les Chaumees terroir. Can drink now with air.

  • Blind tasting. Brief note. Double decanted prior in the day. This needed all the air it could get as it was tight and unyielding until about 6-7 hours in. Pours a very pale yellow in the glass. Nose and palate show a good mix of sweeter meyer lemons and tart lemon as well, slight tropical fruits without being honeyed, and river rock/limestone mineralité. Malo and oak are certainly present but not intrusive and add good weight and a pleasant roundness I otherwise despise. Midpalate has a lovely texture without being dense and oily and has great citrus bite to it. Very clean and long finish. This is good now but needs time.
