  This is the first release from Raen (by the Mondavi brothers Dante and Carlo) so I was anxious to open one of my bottles. I was not disappointed! While this could benefit from some cellaring it was very approachable already. Cloudy crimson red in color, smoky notes, cool dried cherry flavors with a medium pepper finish. Definitely recommend it if you can get a few bottles.

  Fourth generation winegrowers, Dante and Carlo Mondavi were born and raised in the Napa Valley and cut their teeth in the family business.
