Not sure about this one as the 1st day it had distinctive metallic notes on the palate. Read about it before but first time I experienced it in Burgundies. Was better on day 2 but still not very exciting wine. Definitely not worth $55/bottle I paid. Other wines by this producer were much better, I must say, especially Volnay.

Glantenay's Les Riottes reveals a complex bouquet of red-black fruit, rich soil, chocolate and spice, gently framed by cedary new oak, leading into a bright, moderately concentrated wine with tangy acids, a good core of fruit and fine tannins (which are quite elegant for this appellation). Right now this is fast asleep, but around 2020 this will be a lovely bottle of Pommard, as the raw materials are promising.
