  • medium depth ruby, with purple hue. darker but still typical Marlborough PN nose: ripe cherry, dark berries, fragrant. fresh acidity (medium+), medium bodied. deeper than 2012, but same as 2012, a little alcohol exposure in finish. dry finish with a little oak touching and herbals. good varietal expressing, almost balanced, simple but accessible, very young, could improve within 1-2 years.
