Medium straw yellow color with moderate or less viscosity. The nose includes both apple and tropical fruit, along with a pretty good dose of vanilla and some yellow flowers over the top. The palate echoes those flavors, but with the addition of some solid acidity, and unfortunately a little too large a streak of bitterness, almost like biting on a citrus peel. The finish is medium and slightly unbalanced toward that bitter edge. This wine is considerably better at warmer temperatures, 60F or more. Chilled it is fairly harsh. Not bad for $15, but I was hoping for better.

A bit sweet with little going on, a disappointment for A Cameron Hughes product.

An easy drinking chard.
Lots of fruit. Went well with a sauted chicken dish. Very good when sipping on a warm day.
