Luckily,a good friend suggested I give it a try. At finding out about the beautiful people that produce the Port, and their dedication and passion for it, I feel completely humbled to be able to drink their labor of love. What they produce is probably the greatest value in all the Douro. Delicious notes of caramel, date, maple sugar and creme brulee. The slightly darker notes hint that this wine is not just a 10-yeae. So lively and juicy, it leaps from the glass. Long, long finish. This is a 10-Year? This is only $24? UNBELIEVABLE.
