Balanced and smooth. Dark red turning to brick red with a little bit of crumble at the edges. A touch of spice/pepper, fading tannins and minimal acid. Was probably better a couple of years ago but pleasant enough as a mid week quaffer with food. Would make a good accompaniment to a mixed grill bbq on a Saturday arvo. Scored it at 87 but a couple more glasses could see it rate at 88.

Pale ruby in colour. Cedar notes out front leading the way to ripe cherry, cherry liqueur aromas and spice. Very international in style. Medium-weight, silky textured and nicely flowing on the palate. Gets a bit warm by the finish.
