Absolutely stunning - fragrant red fruits that starts with more of a raspberry edge, but then emerges into a more assertive cherry. Just a touch of sweetness to the fruit that is balanced by a wonderfully savoury background of smoky incense, dried leaves, with some chalky minerality. Silky and light, it has this almost etheral texture that is as lovely as the palate. Structure is holding up well. Certainly should hold a few more years, though uncertain if there's much upside. If only I had another bottle...

Red raspberry, red berries, spices and earth notes on the nose. Medium bodied 13.96% ABV) with red berries and red cherry upfront, bringing in red raspberry through the middle. Tannins, acidity and spice notes on the backside along with tart red cherry and cranberry. In prior years, I suspect this wine may have come off slightly on the hot, more spice-driven side, but shows better integration now. Showing well at present and should be able to maintain this level over the next 18-24 months.

Pronounced nose - red fruit, hot, vegetal (a little thin?). On palate - raspberry, cranberry (almost could be some residual sugar). Medium acidity, high alcohol, medium bodied, refreshing (whole bunch?)
